Pre-treatment

Pre-treatment is an essential requirement for surface preparation/corrosion protection prior to the application of a paint film.

Although the types of pre-treatment material are almost infinite in their variety they generally fall into three main categories:-

1. Combined degreaser/cleaner and iron phosphate which is normally applied in a three or four stage spray plant.
2. Separate degreaser/cleaner followed by zinc phosphate in six or seven stage spray plant.

Multi stage immersion plant. Combination of cleaning stations and phosphating stations.
